Terms and Conditions

Trade Automotive Supplies Ltd is a UK based company and complies with UK consumer law. Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Payment

Trade Automotive Supplies Ltd accepts most major credit cards for online orders. You will be asked to enter your card details and the name and address of the card holder when you place the order. These details will be checked and we may hold an order until we receive the correct details. You will be contacted if we find the card or address details to be incorrect.

Credit Card Security

We use Protx as our Secure Payment Service Provider. Protx VSP Systems are encrypted using 128 bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your server from Protx are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering.

Postage and Delivery

Normal delivery time is 1 to 5 working days. We despatch all orders using a courier service. Orders are not despatched for a weekend delivery. Your order will need to be signed for. If you are not in, a card will be left asking you to contact your local courier depot. Please do so without delay, if items are returned to us as “not collected”, we may need to charge you for additional delivery costs.

Returns—Terms & Conditions

You may return goods to us within 7 days of receipt as long as they are returned unused and in “as new” resalable condition. It is important therefore that you are extra careful when repacking the item. You should also ensure that you take sufficient transit insurance when returning the item as you will need to claim on this if any damage occurs whilst the goods are being returned to us. Goods must be accompanied by our returns form.

Returns Form - You will need the free Adobe Reader to view the returns form; if it is not installed on your system visit the Adobe website to download and install it.

Returns Policy

If we have sent you a product which is different to what is listed on your invoice we will make an exchange and pay your postage costs for both the returned item and the replacement.

In the event of a consumer cancelling an order following despatch, then the initial carriage charge is not refundable.

All returned goods, excluding goods wrongly sent will incur a handling charge of 10%.

The consumer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods to Trade Automotive Supplies if the consumer cancels.

If all the above criteria are met, we transact the consumers refund upon receipt of the returned goods.
